Privacy Policy

This policy describes the information a visitor may provide to Yazoo County Court Docket, technical information collected during a visit, and the limits on how this private reference resource uses and shares that information.

Data You Give Us Directly

Search Queries

Information entered into a search tool is sent to the provider that operates that tool. We do not maintain a public case-search database or retain a separate docket-search index from those entries.

Messages and Contact Submissions

If you send an email, the message and its contact details may be retained to respond and administer the request. It is not sold or disclosed outside the organization unless law requires disclosure.

Data We Gather Automatically

Our systems and service providers may receive ordinary technical information when a page loads.

  • IP address and approximate network information
  • Browser, device, and operating-system details
  • Pages viewed and the time of each request
  • Referral source when one is provided
  • Diagnostic information used to maintain service

Cookies and Analytics

Cookies and analytics tools may help measure traffic and troubleshoot performance. Browser controls can limit cookies, although some site functions may not behave the same way when they are blocked.

What We Do With This Data

Technical and contact information may be used to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the resource, route search requests to a selected provider, respond to messages, measure aggregated usage, and investigate errors or misuse.

No Court-Record Data on File

Yazoo County Court Docket does not host, compile, sell, or maintain a repository of court dockets or personal case files. Official Yazoo County records remain with the relevant clerk or court. Mississippi's Public Records Act, Title 25, Chapter 61 is the general public-record framework, but it does not make every court file a county-administration request.

The judiciary is a separate branch. The MEC privacy policy states that Administrative Office of Courts requests are governed by Supreme Court public-record policy, applicable law, or court rule. A request for a docket or filed document should therefore begin with the clerk who has custody and follow the court's access rules.

Third-Party Search Partners

Search widgets are operated by outside providers. Information entered there is governed by the provider's own privacy policy, retention practices, and terms. Review those terms before submitting a query or payment information.

Links to Other Websites

Links to court, clerk, PAMEC, and government pages leave this resource. The operator of the destination site controls its content and privacy practices. Advertising or analytics providers may also apply their own tracking practices on systems they operate.

Who Might See Your Data

We do not sell personal data. Limited information may be processed by service providers that host the resource, measure aggregate usage, operate a chosen search tool, display advertising, or comply with a valid legal process.

How We Protect Your Data

Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to protect information within our control. No internet transmission or storage method is entirely secure, so absolute security cannot be promised.

Users Under 18

This resource is intended for adult use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a minor's information is sent directly to us, it may be removed upon appropriate notice.

Your Data Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that you directly provided to us, subject to legal and operational limits. Those visitor-data requests are separate from court-record access. For a Yazoo County court record, use the clerk and court rule route, including Mississippi Rule of Civil Procedure 5.1 and MEC privacy provisions for electronic documents.

Updates to This Policy

This policy may be revised when practices or legal requirements change. The revised version becomes effective when posted here.
